Sensory Oracle Deck Review
I received the Sensory Oracle Deck from the lovely lady over at Modern Witchy Woman to review! Be sure to check out her Instagram page @modernwitchywoman
I thought I would preface this review by saying that I mostly work with Tarot Cards vs Oracles Decks so this is a fresh and fun experience for me.
This first thing that really drew my into this deck was the color scheme, I personally love anything rainbow so I was instantly attracted to these cards. Its a smaller deck only 22 cards so it is easy to travel with and store. I thought at first I wouldn't care for the back design as they are not mirrored but in oracle reading I haven't really seen upright and reverse interpretations so it didn't really bother me. The card stock is good quality which is always a happy surprise in indie decks.
The artwork is colorful and instinctual for someone like me who has been reading symbols in the cards for a long time. I could see this deck being a little tricky for beginners if they aren't used to finding meaning in everything, but luckily there is a booklet! It only has one sentence per card but it offers surprisingly profound information. I could see this deck being great for visualization and meditation, the pictures are simple, but represent deep ideas.
This was my first pull from the Sensory Oracle Deck and I was pretty pleased with the message. I feel like it represents a balance of my internal elemental forces and a reminder to always be brave and shine like the Sun that I am! Love that I pulled the Lion, it felt very fitting.
Thanks again to @ModernWitchyWoman for sending me this deck that was clearly made from the heart!

Magical Moose Encounter - Animal Totem and Message
I spent a few weekends ago camping, singing, dancing and doing magic. My husband and I packed up our car and our sweet baby dog and headed straight into the Rockies to enjoy a few days with no service and no interruptions.
It was our second night at camp, our fire was blazing. We were idly chatting when suddenly an enormous Moose came lumbering out of the woods not ten feet away from where we were. Soon after its baby came tromping by and we were left in shock and awe as the creatures made their way past our car and up the trail. The bull was at least 7 feet tall with the biggest antlers I’ve ever seen on a creature. In that moment of amazement and terror, all I could think was that this was a sign.
So I did a little research on the majestic Moose and what they represent and I was so pleasantly surprised that I just had to share it with you.
I found a wonderful article on Otteronarock.com about the Moose Spirit Animal Totem, Im going to share a pieces I found especially interesting but you can view the entire article HERE.
“It is time to stop looking around for examples of how to be and stand in your own eccentric goofiness.
This master sculptor teaches that personal preferences need no explanation. Moose in his woods references no other creature in his unique artistry. With his long, silly grin, he wants to assure you that you are most certainly odd. And that is good. Our differences decorate the world and this medicine teaches us how to stand in our wackiness with unshakable confidence. When doubt or hesitation creep up, call on the eccentric power of Moose to help you return to your own unique, unusual truth. It is like no one else’s truth and should never be denied. Moose does not compromise his size or shape to try to fit in. He knows that whatever he becomes will find its place in the world. There is room enough for all styles.”
I absolutely fell in love with the spirit of the Moose and will definitely be calling on in the future. What spirit animals do you connect with? Tell me all about it in the comments!

WHERE TO FIND LOVELY PHOTOS FOR YOUR BLOG
On the internet, graphics are everything. We are visual creatures that have been spoiled by perfectly staged and choreographed imagery. It can get really stressful trying to take your own photos for every graphic and blog post you make for your business. Thats where stock photos come in! Here are my favorite site to roam and wander, lets see what we find..

USING YOUR STOCK PHOTOS
BE PICKY
Take your time and find photos that really tell your story and resonate with your brand. You will be tempted to save every pretty picture you see, but try to stick to images that really vibe with your blog or business. You want to save images that will capture the mood of your website or blog. As someone who is bright and colorful it wouldn't make sense for me to use gothic stock photos, even though I think they're sexy.
MAKE THEM YOUR OWN
Remember that if you're using a free stock photo, there are others using it too. Don't be afraid to brand it and make it your own! You could add text, your logo, or a filter to set your image a part. Be sure if you are using text that you keep it consistent with the fonts on your Brand Board.
CREDIT YOUR SOURCES
Most of the site I have linked use the Creative Commons license. If your image is marked as CCO, it is free to use. That is a “no rights reserved” license which means you can use the image “as is” or alter it and you are not required to give credit. All other licenses have terms and conditions so make sure you are reading them carefully before publishing to your site.
Here are a few of my favorite stock photos to get you started:

New Moon in Gemini - Mischief Managed
Its time to brush up on your communication skills and get ready for proper summer socials! When the New Moon wanders into Gemini you can be sure that a wave of social obligations and spikes in all forms of communication are coming your way. Gemini energy is intellectual and varied. You can expect June to be a month of tantalizing conversation and brilliant ideas! Make sure you work on the other half of communication too, you know, the listening part. Gemini tends to gloss over listening in favor of getting more ideas out, but quality conversation goes both ways. Make sure you get out and do something exciting this month, energies will be high and mischief will be easily managed!
For those of us who run blogs and other small businesses, we can expect to see a huge increase in engagement and interaction with our target markets. Sales should be on the rise this month as everyone will be hearing your message loud and clear, set yourself up for success and get organized to take advantage of this opportunistic energy. Set your intentions for the coming cycle and take some time to brainstorm on your projects and ideas, you will be surprised how much comes pouring out!
Don't forget to enroll in my Timing with Tarot and Astrology Workshop if you haven't done so already! It is through Tarot Summer School so be sure to check out the other teachers and classes available there are some really amazing offerings this year! Its going to be a wildly expansive summer from what I can tell, Im glad you'll be along for the ride!
